Enter License Key

If you are using the free trial version of the CameraWare Standalone Viewer, skip to the next step, Using the CameraWare Standalone Viewer.

When you purchased your CameraWare License, you received 2 emails:

  1. Touch Technologies Customer Receipt/Purchase Confirmation

  2. CameraWare License Information

The information contained in the CameraWare License Information email is required for you to run the CameraWare Standalone Viewer program continuously (no timeouts every 5 minutes driving you nuts!). Please refer to this email to follow along in this tutorial.

  1. Double-click on the CameraWare Standalone Viewer shortcut icon on your desktop to start it.

  2. The Enter License Key dialog box will appear. This is where you will copy and paste your new CameraWare License information.

  3. COPY and PASTE your new CameraWare License Information into the 3 fields shown inside the Enter License Key dialog box.

All 3 fields must be entered in exactly as they are shown in your license information email. If there is a single typo, or any changes made, the license will not work.

    The 3 fields are:

    • Key - The Key consists of 10 blocks of letters and numbers, separated by dashes. For example:

      00A0-99B9-88C8-7777-66E6-00A0-99B9-88C8-77D7-0000

    • Name - The Name field usually contains your name given when you purchased your CameraWare License. For example:

      Joseph

    • Email - The Email is the email address that you used when you purchased your CameraWare License. For example:

      joseph@someemail.com

  4. Next, read the short User Agreement, then click on OK. By clicking on OK , you agree to use the CameraWare Standalone Viewer as outlined in the User Agreement.

If you successfully entered in your license information, the CameraWare Standalone Viewer will proceed to authenticate your license information. Once this is complete, the viewer will initialize and start up.

Note: The Enter License Key dialog box will tell you when your current CameraWare License expires after you have successfully entered it into the program previously. So each subsequent startup of the program will display the license expiry date:
