What’s new in CameraWare? Well…… CameraWare is new!! Welcome to CameraWare -- The 100% FREE high-speed, zoomable, multi-channel, Internet video solution. CameraWare provides free viewing, broadcasting and even enables you to put live video images on your site. CameraWare has several established videochat Communities, all which can be enjoyed with no extra software, just your browser! Use your PC camera or capture card to broadcast images to viewers worldwide without using up your own Internet bandwidth. Live Tech Support is available at any time of day or night to assist you.

Viewing
Using your Internet Explorer browser, you can choose any camera from the Channel Selection list. Turning on the Surf button keeps the Channel Selection list open while you view images for quickly switching back and forth between videos. The frame rate is a 4 second day + transmission time -- so about 5-6 seconds per frame on a cable or DSL line. CameraWare viewing features include zoom, pause and rewind. Leave a video image up for a few moments and you can rewind up to 50 frames!  If the broadcaster has a URL listed to the left of their video, you may click on that URL and a window will open to their website! Image Controls are provided to restrict the video images to a certain Category, such as only Places or Female Broadcasters. Pretty nice for 100% FREE!!

Chatting
Many CameraWare Communities use ChatSpace chatrooms, provided FREE by CameraWare. As with all its software, CameraWare packed several handy and fun features into the chat. Registered nicknames, member profiles, Ignore, sounds, actions, colors, Private Messaging are but a few useful and entertaining tools at your fingertips. Look for the icons along the top and bottom of your chat window and start exploring!
 

Broadcasting
Use your PC camera or capture card to broadcast images to viewers worldwide. All standard VFW (Video For Windows) compliant cameras and capture-cards work with CameraWare Video Sender. Let others view your video without using up your own Internet bandwidth. Your images are sent to our high-speed server and then rebroadcast to viewers using our fast Internet connection. You can broadcast to hundreds or even thousands of simultaneous viewers. For those who prefer more intimate surroundings, you can assign a "secret code" to your video so that only viewers that know the code can watch your video. YOU decide which web pages are allowed to display your video. If you have your own website or would like to invite viewers to come chat with you, simply put the URL in the Viewer Text area on your CameraWare Video Sender software. Your thousands of fans can then click on it and a window will open to the URL you have entered.

Communities
A listing of over 50 CameraWare Communities can be found at http://www.cameraware.com/sites.html. An independent Webmaster runs each community and all are different in atmosphere and theme. Some Communities have multiple CameraWare viewing applets so you can watch several live video images at once. A few Communities also have Voice chat; you can talk and hear each other rather than typing! A short description accompanies each link to make exploring easier. Many are Adult oriented and most are staffed with Moderators around the clock to make sure everyone enjoys their visits. Several CameraWare Communities have chosen to show ‘All’ public cams, which allow you to see all the non-private cams no matter where the broadcaster is chatting. Some Communities show only the broadcasters who are chatting in that Community. Explore the different Communities, bookmarking your favorite sites. Check the CameraWare Community Sites list frequently as sites are added often.

Community Hosting
Being listed on the CameraWare Community Sites list is a powerful promotional tool for your website.
