What's New in Broadcasting?
The new CameraWare Video Sender version 1.6  is out and it is AWESOME! Several new features have been added and we've made room for even more good stuff down the road. Go to >http://www.cameraware.com/download.html to download this latest version.

  Viewer statistics in the Status Area
Now a broadcaster can find out how many people are watching them! The Status Area in the upper portion of the CameraWare Video Sender software now gives the broadcasters viewer statistics.  The broadcaster now knows how many people are watching them currently and how many within the last hour. The top live cam is also listed, both for current and for the hour.
  Countdown timer
Now broadcasters know when to strike a pose with the new Countdown Timer. It is located beneath the Preview Image on the lower left of your CameraWare Video Sender software. When the timer clicks to 0, your image is relayed through the CameraWare Server and broadcast to the Internet. 3,2,1 Smile!

  On Air Timer
This shows how long your CameraWare Video Sender software has been running. It is located directly beneath the Preview Window. Ever wonder where the time went while you are on CameraWare? Now you know!

Frame
How many frames (images) have been relayed to the server.

Your name appears at the bottom of the preview screen. This is the name that you entered on the 3rd line of the Login screen under Broadcast name. This is the name that appears on the Channel Menu screen.

  Secret Code
Your Secret Code is now printed at the bottom of your CameraWare Video Sender software to show that you are successfully 'Coded' and reminds you of that Secret Code.

  Password
The Password is now remembered on the Login screen. Handy for those times when you are in a hurry to get on cam!

  Slide show
Slide show is an upcoming feature, but we couldn't wait to tell you about it. You will find it under Video, Choose Video Device on your CameraWare Sender software. Details and instructions for using the Slide Show will be printed in this column of Eye On CameraWare as soon as it is activated.
 
 
 
 

What's New in Viewing?
Details on Channel List
You can now view a broadcaster’s details! Bring up the Channel Menu by clicking on Click here>>>>Choose a Camera. On the bottom left of the Channel Menu, put a check mark next to Details. The broadcaster’s Community, Category, Adult Content choice, and any Viewer Text they have entered will appear. Selecting a name by clicking on it will bring up that broadcaster’s video. Put a checkmark next to Surf to keep the Channel Menu open. You can now even resize the window!
