cwnews: Tell us a bit about yourself.
Cobra&Shelby: We are a couple from B.C. Canada. We enjoy meeting new people everyday and making new friends, we like to laugh and have fun! :-)

cwnews: How did you find CameraWare?
Cobra&Shelby: I first heard about CameraWare through an email I had gotten about my home page I had up with a live cam.

cwnews: When did you start this community?
Cobra&Shelby: Cobracam actually started around the middle of September 2000. I started with adding a chatroom to go with the viewing applet I had on my home page and moved it to another free host by the end of September 2000. That was the birth of Cobracam.

cwnews: Why did you start this community?
Cobra&Shelby: When I first started broadcasting using CameraWare, I wasn't much into large chatrooms and decided to make a place for Shelby and I to chat with others on cam...(oh how things have changed lol)

cwnews: How did you choose the name?
Cobra&Shelby: The name 'Cobracam' comes from the name of the cam I had on my home page, Cobra's World, Cobra being the nickname I have used for many years.

cwnews: Was CameraWare easy to put on your website?
Cobra&Shelby: Adding the CameraWare applet is as easy as it gets! Simple cut and paste and your done in a couple of minutes!

cwnews: Has having a CameraWare Community increased the traffic to your website?
Cobra&Shelby: Becoming a CameraWare Community has increased the traffic to my site so much it is what prompted me to get my own domain and server (funny thing is I didn't know I was a community till someone told me in our chatroom, we were added as a community by one of our regular chat guests). We love it!

cwnews: How has having a CameraWare Community changed your life?
Cobra&Shelby: Well, first off I guess I can say it definitely brought us out of our shell (LOL). We love having met all the people from all over the world we have met and all the new friends we have made. We hope to hang on to them forever!

cwnews: When is it busiest?
Cobra&Shelby: Well weekends have always been the busiest, but recently the late night hours and early morning have shown to become very busy all week.

cwnews: How does this Community differ from the rest?
Cobra&Shelby: Well that’s a hard one to answer; I think every community has its own unique flavor. Each having its own atmosphere. We try to keep things light and friendly, greeting everyone who comes in to chat and trying not to let anyone feel left out. Originally our choice in the amount of cam applets was different from most other sites too.

cwnews: Is it open to the community?
Cobra&Shelby: Everyone is welcome at Cobracam, as long as they are 18 years of age or older. (we are an adult only site)

cwnews: What do you like most about this community?
Cobra&Shelby: We like the way most feel we are like a family, we all care for each other and not just in chat and on cam but it carries on beyond that!

cwnews: Tell us a bit about yourself.
Minch: Well I am a 47-year-old guy living in the USA who loves to chat with people.
Has been a computer geek for the last 15 years.

cwnews: How did you find CameraWare?
Minch: I found CameraWare through a friend, had never been to a site where there was a picture attached to the chat and found it interesting. When I found the community Cobracam, I knew I would be hooked.

cwnews: How has Moderating a CameraWare Community changed your life?
Minch: Moderating hasn't really changed my life, except maybe I get on the computer a little more now than I used to. But moderating can at times be a challenge controlling the rude people and assisting those with problems.

cwnews: How does this Community differ from the rest?
Minch: I think it is very friendly. We strictly enforce the rules for requests, begging, and being respectful and that helps. We try to be one big happy family, from the times that we have 20 people in the room to the times that we have 120 people in the room.

cwnews: What do you like most about this community?
Minch: Cobra and Shelby are top-notch people. Their friends who come here are what I like most, because they are now my friends. We support each other, care for each other, and think of each other even when not here.

cwnews: Tell us a bit about yourself.
Sas: Well here goes, I’m a 39 year old mother of 2 boys, 21 and 16, my boyfriend and I are CameraWare junkies ...lol. I have found such great friends on Cobracam, Shelby and Cobra are the BEST.

cwnews: How did you find CameraWare?
Sas: Well I found out about CameraWare from my cuz cutiepie / cutiebug.... Since then its been part of my everyday life.

cwnews: How has Moderating a CameraWare Community changed your life?
Sas: Well I have only been a Mod a few times…. wow hard work keeping track of things and making sure the site runs just as cobra and Shelby would run it if they were there.

cwnews: How does this Community differ from the rest?
Sas: Well to tell ya the truth Cobracam is the only site I have really been on, from day one they have stole my attention. They are great people. The best wishes to them both. How they manage it I have no idea.

cwnews: What do you like most about this community?
Sas: What I love about Cobra and Shelby’s site are the friendly faces everyday. There are kind words always upon entering. Great times, silly times, and very sexy times. Always keeps me coming back!
