VIBRATOR CARE
Written by: Esmerelda Bonbon

There are many reasons as to why a vibrator or dildo has been incorporated into one’s life. Woman, men and couples use toys to enhance their sex life. For both women and men, it gives them complete control over the size, girth, depth and speed in which they are being penetrated. It can also add variety and spice during self-masturbation. Couples may find it exciting when engaging in mutual masturbation. Whatever the reason to include this added stimulation into one’s sex life, the most important fact that cannot be stressed enough is: Cleaning.

Today's modern sex toys are expensive and vast in variety. In order to get the most of them and extend their life you should know how to clean and care for them. When you receive your vibrator or dildos, wash it with soap and warm water. Be sure to clean it before using, and ideally after each use. To properly clean your vibrator make sure you get all the crevices and ridges. Avoid using alcohol or alcohols based products to clean your sex toys, as they may dry out and damage the surface. As long as you keep the apparatus clean and bacteria free, you should not have any problems. As far as cleaning your toys are concerned, you don't have to go so far as putting them through your dishwasher nor attempting to boil them. Clean your vibrator with a damp cloth or with soap and water following each use.  DO NOT submerge your vibrator in water unless it is waterproof.  NEVER dip electric (plug-in) vibrators in water.  Don't get water into the battery compartment of your vibe or you could damage the motor and other parts. If you do happen to soak your vibrator, open it up; take out the batteries and blow dry the interior until completely dry. Wipe off the batteries thoroughly. For an extra measure of confidence that the vibrator won't face any long-term damage, leave the vibrator opened up with the batteries out over night. Always make sure that the toy is dry before putting away. A bacterium has a hard time living on a clean and dry surface. It may be a good idea to let your toys air dry rather than toweling them off. Place them on cotton sheet or similar to prevent any residue.

Tips On Use:

Anything put into the vagina should be clean and should only be done with adequate lubrication. Clean the object with hot water and soap or with diluted bleach before and after use by each partner.

Do not put anything directly in your vagina or around your genital area after it has been in another women's vagina. This is the easiest way to spread vaginal infections and STDs.

Never use anything orally that has been used vaginally or otherwise without first being thoroughly cleansed.

Never put anything in your vagina that has been in someone else's anus. The bacterium that grows in the rectum can cause infections in the vagina and urethra. Remember, when buying or choosing objects for vaginal play be realistic about size.

Take the same precautions as you would with any other electrical appliance. Never use it in or around water.
cause serious tissue damage.

A woman walked into the pharmacy and asked for a vibrator. The pharmacist gestured with his index finger and said, "Come this way."  The woman replied, "If I could come that way, I wouldn't need a vibrator!"  ****
