cwnews: Tell us a bit about yourself
SouthernGent: I am a 38 y/o male that really enjoys meeting people from ALL over the world, making new friends and with CameraWare, it makes all that possible. I own a Transportation Brokerage here in Mississippi, so I get to meet new people from all over the USA that way also.

cwnews: How did you find CameraWare?
SouthernGent: Well, actually, I was one of the very first, in public, to beta test CameraWare. I had been in touch with CameraWare before they release it to the public. I guess you might say, I was on the ground floor for the beta testing, and I think it is the BEST cam software out there on the market!

cwnews: When did you start EveryOnesCam?
SouthernGent: We launched EveryOnesCam on September 10, 2000. Our first day online we had a total of 18 visitors. Now, our biggest day, as far as visitors go, we had 21,429 different visitors on April 1st. We average between 17,000 to 21,000 visitors a day now. 3D)

cwnews: Why did you start EveryonesCam?
SouthernGent: Well, I wanted a nice, clean Moderated chat and site that everyone could come into after a hard day on the job and be able to relax, sit back and enjoy the company of all the other chatters in the chat room. Also, like I said, I love meeting people from all over the world and I wanted a place for Everyone to have the same Opportunity to do the same.

cwnews: How did you choose the name?
SouthernGent: I wanted a name that made all Everyone feel welcome at our site.

cwnews: Was CameraWare easy to put on your website?
SouthernGent: Yes it was, very. If you know anything at all about html, it is simple.

cwnews: Has having a CameraWare Community increased the traffic to your website?
SouthernGent: That is a tuff question because I opened EveryOnesCam for the sole reason of CameraWare. I saw from day one that it had very strong Potential of being the # 1 Web cam software on the market.

cwnews: How has having a CameraWare Community changed your life?
SouthernGent: It has brought to me some friends that I hope to always keep in touch with for now on. There are many different kinds of people in this world that we would never have the pleasure of chatting with, must less, see them on a web cam. I think that is Wonderful. =3D)

cwnews: When is it busiest?
SouthernGent: At all times of the day ** giggle ** but, from what I am see from the =
stats of the site, sometime around midnight to 1 am, central time.

cwnews: How does this Community differ from the rest?
SouthernGent: I think it is a lot less stressful on the users computers. No banners or animated things loading on the site. This site also has a feature on it for the users to add as many viewer windows (cam windows) as that users computer can handle. They may find this feature under the broadcasters cam images. It is a button (link) there that says " NEW CAM "; click it and your loading new cam windows.

cwnews: Is it open to the community?
SouthernGent: Yes it is, but you need to be 18 years of age or older to participate in this site due to some adult content and language.

cwnews: Are there any special events you would like us to know about?
SouthernGent: We will be adding a Message board soon where the users, their selves, will be able to put in their own profile, picture and whatever they want us all to know about them in there. I think that will be VERY interesting and exciting.

cwnews: What do you like most about EveryonesCam?
SouthernGent: That is a hard one. I like Everything about EveryOnesCam! I can tell you what all, or most all, of the users say. They really like the rules we have at our site because they feel protected here, broadcasters and chatters.

Moderator Interview: CharliesAngel

cwnews: Tell us a bit about yourself.
CharliesAngel: Good question, get asked about myself a lot. I don’t make it a habit to disclose too much about myself, but I will tell you that I am a lot like I am in the chat room. I love nature, and find beauty in the most common things. I love to have fun, and to be discrete. I try to blend in as much as possible, although I do like to weave my own pattern into whatever I am doing. I get my biggest thrill out of pleasing people, and do what ever I can to see that they are comfortable and relaxed when I am around. I dislike political games, and don’t agree with any type of get-rich-quick scenarios. My one hope in this lifetime is to see peace throughout the masses, and that one day, people will walk arm in arm in harmony, and to become one with nature once again. Sounds kind of corny, but I believe that if we all work together, it will happen.

cwnews: How did you find Camera Ware?
CharliesAngel: From a really good friend of mine, who frequently visits EveryonesCam. I have never enjoyed mass-chat rooms, nor any chat programs for that matter. But with EveryonesCam, it is more like a family… one very large family. They made me feel right at home the minute I came into the room my first time…and I’ve come back like clockwork just about every time I get the chance. Families are the backbone of our future…and EveryonesCam has a very strong fortitude, bringing people of all walks of life together, making lasting friendships that span across the globe.

cwnews: How has Moderating a Camera Ware Community changed your life?
CharliesAngel: Wow, where do I begin? It has forced me to be somewhat of a leader, which I am usually not much good at. I consider myself more of a follower, and a laid-back person. It has been a unique experience, if I may say so. I am a people-pleaser, but have had to take a few blows below the belt with a couple of people who were not pleased that I had to follow the rules. This in turn has got to be the ultimate hardest thing to deal with--being the “bad guy”. I am still learning to deal with people who need to stand back and realize that the rules are there for everyone, and not just a small handful. Those tend to be the one’s who are the hardest to deal with, mostly because they feel they haven’t done anything wrong, and they tend to cause uproars in the chat, leading to an all-around he-said-she-said game. Being a Moderator has made me a much stronger person when it comes to handling tough situations at a fast pace. Our chatroom is known to start hopping at times, with between 100-300 chatters...and at those speeds, you have to read fast, stay on your toes, and pray that another Moderator will show up soon…~wink~ You have to think fast, and pay attention. And with various conversations going on between different chatters, you have to be sure to know just which way they are headed, and be prepared to uphold the rules. Guess you could say that EveryonesCam and Camera Ware has changed my life for the better.

cwnews: How does this Community differ from the rest?
CharliesAngel: A very hard question, because I was never really into chat rooms until I found this one. Since I have been here, I have only visited one other chatroom, which uses the same Camera Ware software. That other site was much smaller, with about 30 people compared to our 100’s, so the chat moved at a slower rate. I hear a lot of people in the chat talk of the many rules we have on our site compared to others…. so another difference between the sites is the amount and the level of rules to abide by. I would also definitely have to include the word “diversity” for our chat…. we get everyone, at any time, from anyplace coming into the site. It is so nice to hear from other people, and other cultures. I believe that the name EveryonesCam speaks for itself, and is the true difference separating our community from the others.

cwnews: What do you like most about EveryonesCam?
CharliesAngel: It has got to be the people…the chatters. They are the friendliest group of adults that can come together in a large mass, and make anyone feel at home. Everyone tries to lend a hand in making this a friendlier, more pleasant, and less conflicting environment, and even the regular’s tent to spit out the rules if one of the Moderators didn’t catch it. For the most part, everyone works together in trying to make our room more pleasant for the chatters, as well as the broadcasters. So, I would have to say, the people--that is my ultimate favorite thing about this site. We are just one big happy family in there, and I encourage anyone out there who hasn’t tried the site to stop in and join Everyone in a little bit of adult entertainment, some relaxing chat, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Happy and Bauhinia: We are Chinese couple from HongKong. Happy is a male and Bauhinia is a female !

cwnews: How did you find Camera Ware?
Happy and Bauhinia: We usually staying on Camarades.com and we got out own site there too ! It is being given to note that there is a site named everyonescam.com by one of our friend chatting on our camarades site ! And we remember that there were only 2 to 3 members chatting with us when the first time we join the chatroom, one of them called SouthernGent ! (laugh out loud)

cwnews: How has Moderating a Camera Ware Community changed your life?
Happy and Bauhinia: As being a moderator ....it seems really change our life that we have to turn on the pc wherever we are working in our office or staying at home . coz we seem that we got to carry out our duties at every minute in the chatroom and we do enjoy to chat with those nice people from every corner of the world too !

cwnews: What do you like most about EveryonesCam?
Happy and Bauhinia: We love this community site coz the room is under control with nice; polite and fun routine environment which is rare of the rest! We even gave up our own site and join into this site just treat it as our family there.
