What's New in Broadcasting?
Slide
Show
The CameraWare Slide Show feature is now activated! You can make your own slideshow, using pictures from your computer or from the Internet. Its fast and easy to do, just follow these easy steps!
You will first need to download the newest
CameraWare Video Sender software from http://www.cameraware.com/download.html.
Start the CameraWare Video Sender software.
Click on Video, click on Edit Slide Show. A new window pops up, which contains
all the options for your slideshow. Click on New to add a new pic. Another
window pops up, prompting you to enter the name of the file on your computer
or the URL you would like to broadcast.
To post a pic from your computer, click on
Browse, which brings up the familiar Windows Browse screen. Browse through
your computer’s directories and select the pics you wish to use. 320x240
pics are recommended. Next issue, we will discuss how to post pics from
the web and even give you examples to use!
Set the Delay Time for each pic. This sets
the interval at which the pics change. Default is best; use a long delay
if you have a slow connection and a short delay if you have a fast connection.
Each pic can have its own Viewer Text. Simply
enter in the text you would like to appear to the left of the video image.
Click on OK to add the pic to your slideshow
lineup. You can even change the order in which they are displayed by clicking
on Move Up or Move Down, which moves the selected pic one step up or down
in the list. If you make a mistake and post the wrong picture, you can
click on Remove and it will ask you if you are sure. You can either add
another pic by clicking on New and repeating the above steps or you can
click on Finished.
Your CameraWare video slideshow is now ready
to be seen! Along the top of your CameraWare Video Sender software, click
on Video, Choose Video Device. You will now see that Video Slide Show is
no longer grey and can be selected. Click on Video Slide Show and your
pics are now scrolling their way thru CameraWare for all your fans to enjoy!
